The next lowest rate is on our Low Balance Transfer Rate Cards. The current average low balance transfer credit card rate is 7.769 percent. Just like the intro cards listed most of the low balance transfer cards have an introductory rate of 0.00 percent.

The intro period on these cards range from 6 months to 24 months. Low balance transfer credit cards listed on our table include several Discover credit cards including the Open Road credit card and Miles credit card which both have intro periods of 6 months.
