Georgia FCU Certificates of Deposit

Georgia Federal Credit Union is offering regular share certificates of deposit and Individual Retirement Account (IRA) certificates of deposit. Regular certificates of deposit range in terms of 91 days to 60 months. IRA certificates of deposit range in terms of 12 months to 60 months. The minimum opening deposit for all certificate of deposit accounts is $1,000.

The credit union recently lowered their 6 month CD rate and CD yield from 1.05 percent to 1.00 percent. Their 12 month CD rate was also reduced - the current CD rate is 1.40 percent, down from 1.50 percent. These CD rates are still competitive and are better than most bank CD rates and credit union CD rates available right now.
