Texas Trust Credit Union is advertising several different types of certificates of deposit. One of the credit union's best CD rates is on their 12 month jumbo certificate of deposit. The current jumbo CD rate is 2.05 percent with an annual percentage yield of 2.07 percent. You have to be an Eagle Member of the credit union to receive that CD rate and CD yield.

To be an Eagle member you must have a loan of at least $20,000; or at least $40,000 or more invested or deposited; or a combination of at least $50,000. Even if you're not an Eagle Member the credit union's 12 month jumbo CD rate is one of the best jumbo CD rates available. The current 12 month jumbo rate is 1.55 percent with an APY of 1.56 percent.

Texas Trust CU is also advertising a 9 month Mega Flex certificate of deposit that currently has a CD rate of 1.30 percent with an APY of 1.31 percent. Their 9 month Mega Flex CD is only available to public servants.
