Mortgage refinance rates are higher this week over last. The average 30 year mortgage refinance rate is back above 5.00 percent at 5.02 percent. This is the first time 30 year refinance rates are above 5.00 percent since the beginning of March. The average 15 year mortgage refinance rate is also higher this week. 15 year refi rates are averaging 4.39 percent, up from the prior week's average refinance home rate of 4.35 percent.

30 year jumbo refinance mortgage rates are averaging 5.57 percent this week, an increase from last week's average loan refinance rate of 5.54 percent. 15 year jumbo refinance rates are above 5.00 percent this week at 5.02 percent. This is the first time in a month 15 year loan refinance rates are above 5.00 percent.
