Mortgage Rates and Refinance Rates are Higher This Week: 30 Year Mortgage Rates Nearing 5.00%

Long term mortgage rates and refinance rates are higher this week over last week. 30 year conforming mortgage rates and mortgage refinance rates are almost at 5.00 percent. Current 30 year mortgage rates and refinance rates are averaging 4.88 percent, up from last week's average 30 year home mortgage rate and refi rate of 4.66  percent. 30 year mortgage rates and refinance mortgage rates in Georgia are lower than the national average. Current 30 year mortgage rates and refinance rates in GA are averaging 4.83 percent.

15 year conforming mortgage refinance rates and home mortgage rates are averaging 4.24 percent, up from the previous week’s average 15 year mortgage loan rate and refinance loan rate of 4.04 percent. Two weeks ago 15 year conforming refinance rates and mortgage rates were below 4.00 percent. 15 year home mortgage loan rates today and refinance rates today in Connecticut are slightly lower averaging 4.23 percent.

Current 30 year jumbo mortgage interest rates and mortgage refinance rates are averaging 5.42 percent, up from last week’s  average jumbo mortgage rate and jumbo refinance rate of 5.32 percent. 30 year jumbo refinance mortgage rates and mortgage rates in Washington D.C. are higher, averaging 5.47 percent.
