Mortgage rates have hit yet another record low in the most recent mortgage survey released this morning. In Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey 30 year mortgage rates hit an all time record low of 3.91% for the week ending December 22, 2011. Average 30 year mortgage rates dropped from last week's average of 3.94%. Current mortgage rates on 15-year fixed rate loans this week averaged 3.21 percent with an average 0.8 discount point, unchanged from last week's average 15 year mortgage rate.

Today's mortgage rates on 5 year adjustable rate mortgage loans averaged 2.85 percent, with an average 0.6 point, a decline from last week's average 5 year adjustable mortgage rate of 2.86 percent.

1 year home loan adjustable mortgage rates current are averaging 3.75%, up from last week’s average 1 year adjustable mortgage rate of 3.63%.

3 year adjustable mortgage rates today are averaging 2.84%, an increase from last week’s average 3 year adjustable mortgage rate of 2.74%.

5 year adjustable mortgage rates are averaging 2.79%, an increase from the prior week’s average 5 year adjustable rate of 2.68%.

Current 7 year adjustable mortgage rates are averaging 3.06%, up from the previous week’s average 7 year adjustable mortgage rate of 3.01%.

10 year adjustable mortgage rates currently are averaging 3.57%, up from last week’s average 10 year adjustable rate of 3.52%.
