Mortgage Rates Today Mixed: 30 Year Mortgage Rates Averaging 3.68 Percent

After making a series of new record lows the past several weeks average mortgage rates are mixed. Average mortgage rates today on 30 year conforming loans are lower averaging 3.68 percent, down from yesterday's average 30 year mortgage rate of 2.69 percent.

Today's mortgage rates on 15 year conforming loans are still under 3.00 percent averaging 2.98 percent. Average 15 year rates are unchanged from yesterday's average 15 year mortgage rate. This coming week average rates might move above 3.00 percent.
