Northwest Hills CU Savings Interest Accounts and Money Market Accounts

Northwest Hills Credit Union based in Torrington,Connecticut, is advertising several different types of savings accounts and a money market account. Northwest Hills Credit Union’s savings account includes a Share Savings Account, a Club Savings Account, an IRA Savings Account and a Health Savings Account (HSA). Northwest Hills Credit Union’s money market account has two tiered money market account rates.

Northwest Hills Credit Union’s Savings Accounts

Northwest Hills Credit Union’s regular Share Savings Account rate 0.50 percent with an annual percentage yield of 0.50 percent. The minimum balance to earn in interest rate on the savings account is $500.

Northwest Hills Credit Union’s Club Savings Account rates and IRA Savings Account rates are also 0.50 percent with a savings yield of 0.50 percent. The minimum balance to earn the rate and yield on a Club Savings Account is also $500 and the IRA Savings Account minimum balance is only $5.

Northwest Hills Credit Union’s Health Savings Account rates are one of the highest HSA savings account rates available today. The current Health Savings Account rate is 2.00 percent with an APY of 2.02 percent.

Northwest Hills Credit Union’s Money Market Account

Money market accounts with balances of $1,000 to $49,999 earn a money market account rate of 0.50 percent with an APY of 0.50 percent. Money market accounts with balances of $50,000 or more earn a  current money market account rate of 0.75 percent with an APY of 0.75 percent.
