Fixed rate mortgages decreased to an all time low in the latest mortgage survey released this morning. 30 year fixed mortgage rates and 15 year fixed mortgage rates both made record lows in this week’s Weekly Mortgage Survey released by the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). 1 year adjustable mortgage interest rates increased for the third consecutive week in the mortgage rate survey.
Mortgage rates continue to increase following bond yields higher. 30 year conforming mortgage rates are almost at 5.00 percent again. Current 30 year conforming mortgage rates and conforming refinance rates are averaging 4.84 percent, up from yesterday's average 30 year conforming home mortgage rate and refinance rate of 4.71 percent. 30 year home mortgage rates and home refinance mortgage rates in Virginia are lower averaging 4.69 percent.
