Mortgage rates made another record low in the most recent mortgage rate report released yesterday. Both 30 year mortgage rates and 15 year mortgage rates made fresh lows in Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey for the week ending August 26, 2010. Current 5 year adjustable mortgage rates tied an all-time low set the prior week.
Mortgage rates decreased in the latest mortgage survey released yesterday morning. 30 year fixed mortgage rates, 15 year fixed mortgage rates and 1 year adjustable mortgage rates were all lower in the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) Weekly Mortgage Survey.

Average mortgage discount points decreased to 0.76 points, down from the prior average of 1.30 points.
