Today's 30 year mortgage rates are averaging 4.58 percent, down from Monday's average 30 year mortgage interest rates of 4.67 percent. Thirty-year fixed mortgage rates have been under 5.00 percent for a couple of months. A year ago that this time rates were even higher.
Mortgage rates were down again this past week. Fixed conforming mortgage rates and fixed jumbo mortgage rates were down. Conforming 30 year mortgage rates are closing in on 5.00 and jumbo 15 year mortgage rates are also headed towards 5.00 percent.
