The 6-Month CD also moved higher this week, rising to 2.697% from 2.692% last week. The spread between the 12-Month CD and 6-Month CD currently stands at 0.126 percentage points.

These averages are calculated from 21,597 verified CD rate quotes collected across 2,282 banks and credit unions reporting from all 50 states — updated daily by MonitorBankRates.com's proprietary systems.
